Adult Only Hotels in St Lucia

St Lucia is a paradise island in the eastern Caribbean. Holidays in St Lucia are among the most popular of all the Caribbean islands. The diverse landscape ranges from the Qualibou Volcano with its bubbling sulphur springs, to lush mountains, dense rainforests, pristine white sandy beaches, banana plantations and meadows of tropical flowers. The best time to visit St Lucia is between December and March, as these are the driest months, but also the busiest. May is also a busy month with the St Lucia Jazz Festival, which takes place in Pigeon Island National park.

Holidays in St Lucia offer a range of popular excursions. Visitors can take a trip to Marigot Bay, a sheltered palm-fringed bay set against a backdrop of green hills. The bay also features a marina - a popular mooring spot for luxury yachts. Other popular attractions include the Malgretout Waterfall, where visitors can take a dip in the warm volcanic waters, and Pigeon Island National Park, with its 18th-century fortress, cannons and ruins.

Holidays in St Lucia are particularly popular with honeymooners who are drawn to the island's natural beauty. Underwater enthusiasts flock to St Lucia's coral reefs just north of Soufriere, with its stunning selection of coral, sponges and wealth of marine life. Situated on a large natural harbour is the island's capital, Castries - a bustling port city with pretty squares and busy market stalls. Castries also features a 19th-century cathedral with an imposing stone façade, and inside, images of a black Jesus Christ.
